Anyone want to come to our wedding? Anyone?

Long story short, it seems that our wedding is only going to have about 60 attendees. I know I should be happy with an intimite event, but it feels kind of sh*tty instead. Mostly because last year, 100+ people were planning to attend. Yeah, I know we are already married, and I know it is far away, but come on, people! Have some sympathy for the fact that Mike lost his mom and we had our wedding cancelled. We were really looking forward to having this day, and it makes me sad that more people don't want to share it with us.

Oh, and having to pay for 110 people whether they are there or not? That sucks too.

That is so sad, I'm sorry that you are going to have such low attendance when you wanted something more. Maybe I can send some of my guests over to your wedding? I am hoping for something a little smaller and more intimate, but my parents have other ideas.

Jenna: Lol! If only it were that easy, right?

Julie: Email me your address and I'll send you an invite. I'm serious. And then at least you will have a invite to admire, even if you can't come! ;)

Hi there... I randomly stumbled across your blog and just had to comment.

We seem like wedding soul-sisters! My wedding was in May of 2008, and just over 100 people showed up... of the 300+ that were invited. Needless to say, I was a little disappointed after putting my heart and soul into wedding plans. I feel your pain. Plus, we had a random downpour just as I needed to get from the church to the reception site. Whoever looks forward to rain on her wedding day is NUTS--I'd take a dry dress over good luck.

Anyway, congrats to you and your hubby and good luck with everything! I'm going to subscribe to your blog as I'm an avid crafter/dreamer, too!
